It's a harsh fact of life but to progress through the ranks of Motor Sport you have to have money and lots of it! Sponsorship is one way of getting the money to go racing and the more you have the better.  It's become somewhat of a prerequisite for someone who is starting out in Motor Sport - of any kind - to have at least some financial backing behind them and that's where BowSport Management can help out.

Whilst we cannot claim to have the ear of every Chairman, Managing Director, Marketing Manager or Public Relations Officer, we can help you out by working with you on who to approach first. Who you should be talking to, how you should be presenting yourself and even advising on what sectors of industry will have the money that you will require.

During my time as Marketing Manager at Fujitsu, I've been responsible for getting Formula Ford, MGF, Two British Touring Car teams, a Formula One and a World Rally Championship signed off. And whilst I was working for Fujitsu-Siemens, I was again involved in the sponsorship deal for another Formula One team.

It's really all a question of knowing what it is that you have to offer a potential sponsor, in return for space on your car or motor bike. Are you able to offer hospitality as part of the package, would resellers and press be invited along to test days, would you allow them to sit in the car or actually drive it. Would you allow them space on your car for the provision of equipment?

These are just a few of the questions that you will have to ask yourself.
